I'm not sure if you all remember me, I used to post back here in the E24 board in my high school days when I was really lusting after one these. Time passed, I managed to find an E32 to keep me busy, but now fast forward 7 years later, I finally have dough to buy an E24! Or so I though....when I was looking back then, decent E24s could be had for 5-7K in for 88-89s in black/black trim sub 150K miles. Wow have I missed the boat, E24 values have doubled in that time! The M6 used to go for 10-14K when I used to look for them back in the day, crappy ones go for 20K now! Looks like I got more saving to do....good on all of you who held on! Hoping the E32 appreciates the same way one day

You can still get a decent 635 if you're patient and ready to pull the trigger when you see the right one.
M's are definitely going up (which is good )
(Weren't you doing a V12 swap way back?)
Well if somebody has or knows of a 1988 or 1989 635csi black paint/black leather or black paint/red leather please let me know. Only requirement is it runs and is not rusty.
Did not do a V12 swap (never that adventurous), I'm debating going turbo m30 in the 735
Check my thread below, not advertising yet, but you aren't too far.
'84 Euro 635CSi Polaris/Pacific, for sale (maybe)
Home of the Silver Bimmers: '91 M5, '84 Euro E24, "99 E36, "98 E36, '02 E46 xiT (yes, all silver)
I honestly don't think a black on red leather combo was ever offered in 1988/89 U.S. spec models. You could get Schwarz with Cherry red leather on 83-84 633CSi and Schwarz with Cardinal red leather on 85-87 635CSi models. By the same token, I've never seen a U.S. M6 with red leather either.
DSCF1059.jpgHow about a 1987 Red with Lotus white interior ? $12K 105,134 miles owned for 15 years all recordsno accidents . Fast and straight. Florida car.
let me know.
