Hello all,
everyone else has a build thread, figured I would make one too. The others helped me figure out what directions to go considering I didn't buy the kit new and had to figure out a lot of things on my own. The car is a 1996 328i black on tan interior (hate the tan). Motor is a S52 with under 40k on it. I just finished this thing today, and just need to get some fresh fuel for it and will run it tonight after work. My biggest fear is that the stock compression will give me issues on 92 octane gas, I think it will be around 10psi but we will see...

Probably forgetting a few things, but that's the most of it! I will try to post some pics here soon!
Nice setup!
In before the "get rid of all of that and go turbo" posts.
I ran that setup on stock compression and stock headgasket for about 10k miles at 12.5psi on a bad AA tune and it held together. I think 10-11psi on 92 octane and such low miles you should be fine.

That makes me feel better Jamesons! I have driven it about 50 miles, still sorting out a couple issues, think my 02 sensors are bad, or at least one. BMWlogger data shows that bank 1 and 2 are doing very different fuel trims.
My goal now it to keep working with Jordan at RK to get the tune dialed in, pretty sure the 02 is my issue... I will update soon!
I already wish I went turbo, BUUT twins are on the way and I will be happy just getting this running perfect at about 400whp. Woman wants a lexus lx470 aka no turbo for me
