    fault A158

    hi guys,

after a routine diagnostic using carlysoft, I got this fault under power module: error battery disconnect (quiescent) A158

the battery is brand new with only 15 day and all the electronics and car functions works perfectly well.

what this seems to be, any hints ?

    thanks a lot

Do you have comfort Access... Door Handles on outside will have a chrome strip... If you do it may be that a handle is shorting and the power module of the car is shutting down modules so as not to leave you stranded... Disconnect power to the comfort access Handles on each door and then see if the codes come back... If they do not ,connect power to 1 door handle at a time and then check for codes ( may take 24hrs) ... if no codes , connect another door handle and then continue....The time between your check should be 24 hrs... Hope this helps.

I found the problem, is a faulty satellite, right A-pillar, airbag module
I already ordered one, but I´m not sure if its plug and play, or
it will require coding when replaced.

ps-can someone confirm me if the module is under the side trim panel? this one:
