Manual top, cannot release passenger side latch , Bowden cable broken ?

I pulled the driver's side latch , it open and then a snap Passenger side latch won't release. How do I release the latch to open the tonneau so I can replace the cable ?

    I looked there
I did not see any suggestions for a manual roof
Just ways to disconnect the xabk from the motor
If I missed it please do cut and paste the answer for manual tops
    Thanks

I'm getting a little tired of Mr. Pelican posting generic crap to pimp their overpriced parts.

I pulled the driver's side latch , it open and then a snap Passenger side latch won't release. How do I release the latch to open the tonneau so I can replace the cable ?

You are SOL. The cable to the passenger side lock starts at the dead center of the tonneau well in a junction box. It is not accessible if the tonneau is locked. Options are limited. Tonneau cover replacement is not that bad if you can find one in the color you need. Latches are spring loaded to be unlocked. If your's is stuck locked the junction box is holding it there. You could cut a hole from the trunk into the tonneau well and then cut the passenger cable to open the tonneau. Check out the exploded diagrams on realoem so you can see what I'm trying to say.
