    Considering selling my 840Ci

I am considering selling my 1997 840Ci Canadian spec E31 with only 127,000km on it. The car is without a doubt second to non when it comes to being well maintained. I believe it's one of the best condition 8 series anywhere in the GTA if not the best!

    Upgrades are:
    - Bilstein front and rear shocks
    - Eibach springs
    - 3.15 rear diff
    - custom steering wheel
    - CSI lower front bumper
    - CSI mirrors
    - CSI rear diffuser
    - M Parallel wheels (all refinished in hyper black)
    - Magnaflow cats
    - OEM resonator delete (still have them if you want them)
    - clear bra on the whole hood, fenders, nose, trunk lid and top rear bumper cover
    - black powder coated valve covers
    - black powder coated Strong strut
    - eFe dry cold air intake filter
    - new black Alcantara headliner, rear trunk deck, and both A & C pillars in 2017

    Recent maintenance items:
    - headlight buckets, wiring and bulbs all new in 2017
    - FTP wiring all new in 2017
    - new front & rear brake pads
    - new front & rear rotors
    - new oil pan filter, gasket and bolts in 2016
    - new gaskets on the following (May 2018):
    Upper timing cover banks 1 & 2
    Valve cover gaskets bank 1 & 2
    front & rear Manifold gaskets
    - Power steering pump replaced with OEM part in 2016
    - A/C compressor and belt replaced 2017
    - Serpentine belt replaced 2017
    - all pulley's replaced 2016
    - Brake fluid flush 2017
    - Coolant flush 2017
    - new MAF April 2018

There is more but this is what pops in my head right now.
The interior is in excellent condition, no rips or tears and both bolsters on the driver and passengers seats are in great shape.
I have listed all parts (including part numbers) and the date each item was replaced since I have owned this car.

Please remove the car has been SOLD!

I would say it should start at $15k. So many dealer cars look good in pictures but have had no maintenance or upgrades or care from an enthusiast.

Ultimately, your car is only worth what someone will pay for it. I'm with RJ though, but start it at 17k or so. Guys who want one of these will pay for a good one like yours.

Those asking prices are close to what I was thinking I would get for the car. I am only thinking about it though, as I do not need to sell it. I always thought I would keep this car forever but let's be realistic, everything is for sale for the right price.

There's a 1995 840ci on kijiji right now with less kilometers for $14000. e31's are a tough sell in Canada.

Sure that American 840 is half the price but I like the black 97 twice as much.

Yes, I believe at this point, color combination has alot to do with sales price. Asthetics is 1/2 the game!
