Worth saving?

I picked up a pretty rough 96 750iL needed a head gasket. Cheaper to replace the engine. Did that with a used one. Fell in love with car. My daughter proceeded to blow that motor. For the price to fix it right seems like I can get a nice 740iL. Are there any difference between the two besides the engine?

Mostly cosmetics that you lose such as leather stitched dash, pillar trim, as well as adjustable rear seats, not to mention the fantastic V12. How did your daughter manage to ruin the M73?

Sorry to hear that. If you are interested in fixing it yourself, I've got a '95 750 that I'll be parting out. The engine is great. I'd let it go pretty cheap.

Combination of a misrouted heater hose getting cut by the belt and her not paying attention to it overheating. How cheap is cheap and where are you at?
