This 1982 BMW 323I E21 TC1 Baur coupe is exceedingly rare and will keep getting rarer and rarer. This is a euro market BMW has the smaller very sleek euro model bumpers and is a 323I not a 318I that was brought to the US meaning this is the rare 2.3L 6-cylinder allowing the car to have more power and that beautiful 6-cylinder note, this particular 323I has an aftermarket exhaust system made by Thermal Research & Development making that 6-cylinder note much more amazing with the pops and cracks that will make you just want to keep driving around. This BMW does not just stop there from making it rare, it is the 323I Karosserie Baur, a Stuttgart-based coachbuilder. Baur was name of the models and they became a targa E21 BMW also known as TC (Top Cabrio) and this being the first model of the TC's it is the TC1. Baur then made a model out of the BMW E30, E36, & E46 years later. There were only very few E21 TC1 323I Baur's made, only 1659 were produced and very few of them were imported to the US. This 323I still does not stop there, this BMW was also topped off with the BBS bodykit and trunk spoiler from the factory another very rare option making this BMW 323I Baur a very rare and hard to find model. Recently the BMW has been paired with some 15" BBS wheels to give the BMW a very nice and sleek look while matching the BBS bodykit.
This very rare BMW has received a very expensive 10k full paint job matching the original exterior paint in 2004. With the paint job being over 14 years it still looks amazing with only few little blemishes and or scratches. All of the panels of the car shine brilliantly. The euro chrome bumpers do show some oxidation but still look amazing. The Baur top works perfectly and the rear plastic window was just replaced. The interior of the car is in impeccable condition besides the dash being crack with just a few little cracks there are no other issues at all. The AC blows not very cold but does work and so does the heater. The 5 speed transmission works perfectly without a single pop-out or grind ever. The car recently received a brand new alternator and full tune up having the car run great with no issues at all. The car starts right up always on the first try.

Boy that was fast!
My apologies for being late to the party here, but this appears to be a NEW FIND Baur, in that it is not registered with the International Baur registries! I write the Baurspotting blog, and I would like more info on this Baur from either the buyer or the seller! Any help is much appreciated!
