Hi everyone. I recently picked up a dream car of mine, a '97 840CI. It's got 82k miles and lived it's entire life in Northern California. First owner kept it for 18 years with extensive service records, second owner only drove it 3k miles in his 3 year ownership. Interior is pristine. It drives like a dream and I couldn't be happier.

This forum seems like a great community and I look forward to learning from those with years of experience and knowledge about these cars. Below is a list of items I have planned in the near future.

- Seat Twist Fix: Both seats have the infamous seat twist. I'd like to run new wiring to ensure a long lasting fix.
- M Parallel Wheels: I'd like to find a set of M Pars. Let me know if anyone in California is selling
- Minor Dents: There's about 6 small dents here and there. They all can be fixed with paint-less dent removal.
- Paint Correction & Protection: A 2-stage correction and ceramic coating.
- MID Pixels: It's a bit dim in the center. I'm guessing a few pixels are out. I'll send this out for a fix.
- Rotors & Pads: Not an immediate fix, but there's a slight lip on the rotors so I'll be swapping these out with new pads.
- Suspension Overhaul: There's some minor cracking on the bump stops and bushings due to age. I'd like to get the entire suspension redone with Bilstein struts, Eibach springs, control arms, ball joints, etc. I'll have lots of questions when I get around to this!

We have exactly the same ride! 97 840Ci Black on Black with 82k miles in Bay Area. I got a set of staggered M-Parallels with tires if you're interested. Selling only because I got a set of E31 Alpina or I'd put them on in no time. I'm interested in doing ceramic coating if you got some hook ups. Let me know if you know any dent removal service as I got quite a few only on passenger door somehow LOL!!!

For dent removal, I have a shop in Albany (near Berkeley) that I'll be going to. A close friend of mine works there and has shown me dozens of cars that his guy has done. Pricing is good too. I'll post up before and after pics once that's done. All of 6 of my dents are on the drivers side - nothing on the passenger side!
