    Cutting into the auto harness

I have done as much searching as I can kind of figure out how to do and I can't seem to find a write up. Is anybody running an auto harness with the connectors dangling? If so is there a write-up where I can surgically remove those and what to avoid? I would imagine you can just slice them off but I do not want to troubleshoot a splice or something if there is one in there.

Coil them up, ziptie the coil and put them under the brake booster or in the ECU box or somewhere else. I would not cut. I have a 328i auto harness on my manual 99M3.
