Ok

For a while i was being told on inpa that i had a problem with knock sensor one reporting no voltage so i bought a set intending to replace them when i pull the blower for my ecu install.

After i did my TG and vanos rebuild i had a code 34 for camshaft control and it turned out to be the upper timing chain case on bank 2 not being tightened down enough on its gasket, meaning the trigger wheel was being read wrong.

So i addressed that and now i've noticed that the knock sensor code has gone. I 'm not complaining but it does seem that camshaft control and knock sensors seem to join up, if you get my drift.
