So unfortunately I hit a deer on the interstate and smashed the front end of my 2014 BMW 335XI. As I'm working through the insurance claim process, I'm learning that they will only replace my parts with aftermarket parts. Apparently this is an insurance standard on cars more than 2yrs old. I'm not real happy about this and am putting up a fight with my insurance company but I'm not optimistic about the outcome. Any thoughts on whether or not it's worth spending extra $$ to get OEM parts? We're talking about a hood, xenon adaptive headlights, front bumper, kidney grille, BMW emblem, radiator, A/C condenser, and other smaller parts. The additional cost is going to be somewhere on the order of $2k-$3k... Thanks for your thoughts!
