Are the trailing arms/hubs the same as a 2.8?

Not quite, all Z3s post 99 had Torsen diffs, so not quite a clutch pack LSD, but also not exactly an open diff either. Just FYI, as we can fit e30 etc diffs on our cars as well, there is definitely a difference between an e30 open diff, and a torsen diff from a Z3.

Aside from that, would you be willing to sell just the slipring from your steering wheel?

Suspension: Bilstein Sports, GC Coilover conversion, IE Subframe Bushings, IE RTABs, M roadster sways, M roadster front control arms, M roadster Front calipers/hubs.
Engine/Driveline: M54B30 intake Manifold, Dinan CAI, ZHP Cams, Headers, Underdrive pulleys, Conforti Software, 3.46 diff.

ok, I may be interested in the tail lights to 14450.

Also, is the airbag included with the wheel?

And do the seatbelts retract properly? my driver doesn't always.

    Differential SOLD!

    Luftwaffe101-
I'd rather sell parts whole (not just the slipring or break a pair of lights up...) unless I need to break them up to move something. If I still have the wheel in a couple of weeks, I will let you know. and thank you for educating on the rear diff. I play with E21s mostly and am creeping into more modern cars.

    Jimmyfloyd-
Interested in taillights- is shipping the crux? I can calculate tomorrow morning (at work through the evening).
The steering wheel does have the airbag- can I ship that???
Seatbelts do retract properly- fair expectation...

    Let me know.
    Thanks!
    Eric.

Hehe glad the diff sold, that's actually a great mod for older manual Z3s (such as mine) which came with 3.15s from the factory IIRC. If I didn't already have this, I would have been spamming you with PMs for it hahaha.

As far as the steering wheel, if you can find someone that is willing to just take the wheel and airbag, and reuse their slip ring, I am in the process of converting a Z4 wheel for use on my car, so I would really just need that.

So I guess if anyone here is interested in just the steering wheel and wouldn't mind taking it sans the slipring

As for the diff, heheh "modern" car is kind of funny in this term, on real OEM our cars are listed under classic these days

But yeah, basically e36 front smashed to an e30 rear is what the Z3 is. So we can take diffs from a large amount of cars as I am sure you are aware, but Zs had 2 types of diffs, 96-98 from what I recall were true clutch pack LSDs, and 99-02 were Torsens. The Ms always had a clutch pack. 98-2000 were 3.23s and 01-02 were 3.15s I think.

If black, or black and blue or grey, I'd be interested in a couple things.

Sorry not to have responded sooner!

The interior is tan. Most of it is spoken for except for bits and pieces and the carpet which is in very good shape.
Exterior is Oxford Metallic- Plenty of pieces left.
    No cupholder.
Lots of specific pieces left- Gas tank, rear trailing arms and hubs, front strut towers with hubs... The ends of pieces that are hidden and do the work.

What you looking for in particular? I have a throttle pedal potentiometer for sale... Z3M S54 and E39 M5 specific part (but might play nicely with S85?)
