I grounded the relay wire 85 to a new ground and fan works on low all the time the ac is on now
And you wanted to go to another forum.....
Patience grasshopper!
So my last question is this : my fan works on low like it should cause I grounded the wire from terminal 85 to the body of the car. I noticed the original
Wore looks like the same black and Red low speed ground wire that's at the temp sensor on radiator . SO if I just ran a whole new wire from
Relay to this sensor would my high speed finally start working for the fan provided the sensor is good ? This red
And black and wire is just a straight shot from the sensor to that low speed relay anyway right ?
Well the high speed came on the other day for the first time by itself when it hit 104C, but havent seen it come on since for some reason. Where is the high speed relay located? and can i connect a switch to it?

High spd relay should be in the DME box.

i have connected an indepedent ground wire from K201 terminal 85 to its own ground. SO the ground wire from the dual temp switch on radiator to the relay has been cut off at the relay ,the rest of the wire still goes to the hvac unit im assuming. So does anyone see any issue with me connecting an on/off switch to the high speed black and gray wire? what would happen if i do this and turn on the high speed while the low is still running?

Ok so i just tried wiring in my own toggle switch to turn high speed on and it worked one time and
Now cars aux fan is stuck on high? Whenever i start car fuse 7 blows immediateky soe i tried putting in a 30 amp vs the 20 and when i turn the key on the aux fan come on high?? This is with ac not on. If i remove
The high speed relay it doesnt even effect it fan keeps running on high , removing low speed relay stops the fan though
I reallly really need ur guys help please
Fuse 7 is for the low speed operation.
I'm guessing you have something wired wrong.
You shouldn't start the fan from a dead stop and go to high speed. I'm guessing the high current it's drawing from a dead stop my have welded relay contacts closed.
So u are referring to the relay contacts under the relay? So
I would have to re-wire the whole relay underneath?

Also are u referring to the high speed relay or the low speed?
Yes i just find it odd that it starts right up on high speed as soon as i turn on the ignition
Everything was fine until I decided to wire a toggle switch to the black and grey wire on the radiator dual switch , then I turned on key to test switch . The fan went on high once then I turned it off started car and turned on ac , then noticed the low speed of the aux fan no longer working so I tested my new low speed resistor and found it to be blown! So I bypassed both resistors and still no go , all
That kept happening then was fuse 7 would keep blowing ! So I tried a 30 amp fuse for testing purposes and now the high speed of the aux fan comes on when I turn on ignition !! Without ac button even pressed . So far I have swapped low speed relay out 2 times , no change in this behavior though. what should i be testing ? Guys, please chime in it's getting really hot out and I need my AC!
can i please get some anwers here? Part of why this all occured in the first place was because nobody would answer me in the first place when i asked if adding a toggle switch to the high speed would be ok.
