Double check the fuses in the trunk?

Only thing that fixed mine was swapping the steering column module behind the MID

Sometimes recalibrating the module works. You need to pull the fuse for 15 minutes, then after you reinstall it, move the wheel full up and hold for 15 secs, full down and hold, full in and hold, then full out and hold.

Of course, if it isn't working at all and the fuse is good, then as olin said, it must be the module -- part number 32-31-1-160-011. I've found them on ebay (sometimes checking german ebay as well). It's located in the center of the dash behind the middle vents, but it's better to remove it by removing the MID display, rather than risk breaking the fragile vent unit.

Thanks For all the input. Will try it this weekend. Which fuse Mike ? F18 in the engine compartment or F40 in the trunk? I am hoping it is not the Steering module. Thanks

I just tried both front and rear fuse and that didn’t work. Going to deal with it this weekend on the steering wheel control module next. Thanks

This is certainly becoming more common given the age of the electronics modules.
Typically, it requires replacing $5.00 worth of electrolytic capacitors to fix the unit.
Refer to the post below. Note if you replace the Steering column control module (rather than repair yours) it will need to re-calibrated with a DIS.

Well after disconnect the battery on both side and left it off for a week and during that time i recharged both battery and reconnect it this morning and did the calibration and its all working now. Most likely the battery issue so going to see if the battery will hold the charge this week if not i will be out buying two new battery. Planning to head out to the HB Concourse this weekend to pick the brain of the Socal8 Guru.
