    EWS II Location on a 11/95 M73

Ok, so really weird, I did plenty of research before going out to the car to replace the EWS II.

I removed the module from under my driver side dash steering column area, as noted in many pics and threads online.

But what was in the place of my EWS II was my Multi Function Wheel module, 61358352494.

I have a brand new coded EWS II from the dealer...I just don't know exactly where to look now.

To clarify, I had an intermittent no crank, then one day no crank..ever. Lucky I was in my neighbors driveway and not at lunch or something. No Communication with the EWS module. So I am 90% sure its the EWS module, I just need to be pointed in the right direction as to where it is.

    Thanks!
    Dave

    Excellent

I have been getting water over on the passenger footwell so this all fits.

Also my ABS goes out in heavy rain...

    And my wipers act up...

WOW, seems like this explains all my issues.

Your sunroof drain is clogged on that side. You also have a fuse block and MANY splices under the passenger seat. They sit in the lowest point of the floor pan, just perfect for holding water.
