convertible problem with tonneau cover latch

hi all,

I have a 1998 BMW M3 convertible. great car.....i have an issue with the tonneau cover lock in the close position. anyone know how to get that lock opened? The driver's side is locked while the passenger side opens and closes fine. The tonneau cover will not close fully on the drivers side.

It could be your latch switch is broken or stuck. Have you done a reset? Have you checked to see if anything's broken or needs lube? Maybe send some pics, so we can provide better answers.

Thanks M3rocket the latch was stuck in the locked position. used WD40 and unstuck the latch. Working great. Thanks
