    What radio for my E30?

Right now I'm looking at a VDO or a Blaupunkt Business CD for my 1990 E30 vert. Any thoughts or other suggestions?

I think the BMW infrared unit is the best period looking unit.

If you're sticking with OE, this unit is the best fit and is a true 4 channel unit. Later units don't fit exactly right as BMW made a small change to the way they mount. Newer ones will stick out a bit. I'd go aftermarket to get the modern features. In general I like the look of some of the Kenwood units. Check out the ones with variable color dot matrix displays. There's a few other ones that have been discussed on this board over the last year or so.

I put a kenwood kdc-bt368u unit in my car and I love it. It's black so it matches the dash, sounds good enough and has bluetooth streaming capabilities which is really handy.

I installed a Kenwood KDC-X502 in mine. I looks really nice and you can match the colors to do the rest of the interior.
