    Yet another rim topic

I recently jumped the gun and bought some 18 inch Apex rims. It was a deal I couldn’t refuse, or rather resist. Now I am wondering if I was a bit ambitious with my purchase. I have 2001 M Roadster all stock and for my front I picked up 18x9.5 ET 31. I did not get any rubber yet, but was looking at 245/35R18 tires size for the front. I did put just the rim on and there was about 2mm distance to the shock. I noticed that OEM tire on my original 17 rim comes out a bit beyond the rim. With 18 rim tire wall would be smaller and I am hoping so it the overal width. Worse case I can add 3 or 5mm spacer, but now my concern is the outer side of my tire. It would extend about 4cm according to willtheyfit dot com. Any words of advice?
In case anyone curious, my rear pair is 18x10.5 ET 22. I think I should be find either those, but might throw 5-10 mm spacer there as well.
    Thank you!
