Been driving around with the Christmas lights for quite some time. When i bought it, the speedo didn't work. Found a broken wire at the sensor, fixed it, and the speedo came back. Been getting the P0500 code. Checked the sensors from the ABS connector and found that both right side sensors were open. Replaced them today, found that both had broken wires, but I replaced them anyways. Cleared the codes, checked the codes and nothing was at fault. But, I still have the trifecta. Any ideas?
bad abs module?
It didn't throw any codes when he hooked it up. It worked as it should. Not sure if the lights should automatically go out, or go out, after time of driving. I used VDO sensors.
There are a million and half DIYs on how to check your sensors, how to diagnose it, etc. Here's the best one.

That's how I figured out, how to check the sensors... To find out that both right sensors were open.
My trifecta involved a bad wheel speed sensor, and a bad angular steering sensor.
