For a 3.0 coupe,Eibach shows their springs were tested on factory dampers, I called them and the tech confirmed this as being correct (for what that worth). I was under the understanding that if you were to use any type of lowering spring, h&r or eibach etc, That you really needed to replace the dampers for lowered spring even a slight lower. Thoughts on eibachs with stock struts.
The biggest reason I ask is,Bilstein sports have been on back order since Nov of last year and have never been a koni person but may have to become one.
Here is a picture of my eibach springs compared to the originals, both of which are broken. I'm using Bilstein Sport shocks.

Here is how Bilstein Sport shocks compare to Bilstein HD shocks.

billie sports traditionally are a bit shorter.
Koni usually have a softer less jarring ride...i ran billies since the 70s....my track car has koni.......I prefer Koni overall.
if the drop is minimal and rate is not overly zealous a stock shock "could" work...not optimal but could work...not my choice to!
and some higher rate sprgs can be stock ride ht
