    Rubber Seals and Trim

This is probably a dumb question but I should be able to replace the rubber rear windshield trim without having to have the windshield taken out correct?

I want to start replacing some of my seals that have seen better days with the goal to replace all of them eventually.

    Thanks!

Yes you don't have to remove the windshield to get the trim out. You just pull out the old seal and press in the new one. It can be hard to get the trim out of the top right and left corner, but you want to slowly work it out so you don't wind up putting so much upward pressure on the windshield that you damage the actual window sealing.

Great, that is what I figured and thought I read but didn't want to remove it and be wrong. Does the same go for the front trim as well?

I believe it does but I haven't personally replaced one.

It has a rigid metal piece in the straight parts I don’t think you can do it without removing the glass. Unless coupes are different but on my sedan I’d like to do mine but don’t wanna pull the glass
