When removing the switches from the M Console panel, the DSC switch came apart. I manged to put it back together. It appears to work fine. I am wondering if these clips came from the switch??? Anyone know?

Of course I only found all the pieces AFTER I bought a replacement.

Found my answer. The 2 small metal clips are attached to each side of the switch in order to hold it in place when mounting it into the console panel.

Yup, without them the switch will tend to want to come out on its own.
