The short version is I'm installing a transfer case on my Dad's 2005 X3 and I'm looking for torque specs for when I button this thing back up.
The longer version is it looks like I'm joining the E83 world. This will be my 5th bimmer, I had all but my current e39 past 200k. My dad's X3 had a t-case go bad and it's worth about the same as the cost of repair. So he told me I can have it if I want to fix it. I pulled the old one out (and apart for the sake of curiosity) and now have reconditioned parts ready to roll. But I'd love to have a manual to guide reassembly. Anyone have a PDF you wouldn't mind emailing me or posting? bmail3 at gmail dot com.
I'll post later about my luck w/ these recon parts.

Actually, does anyone know if a PDF manual is a thing? I wouldn't mind paying for a good one. I scored a 3000 page monster shop manual for my wife's Subaru on PDF and I can't actually imagine having one of those on paper. Super useful to search the document w/ a keyword.
I found a 2005 X3 manual in PDF here https://carmanuals2.com/d/17696
.
However, what I need currently is the "Owner's manual for radio and computer" which is not included. Anyone know where to find this?
