    Alternative Tire Size Options 325i

Question regarding tire sizing for my E46 2004 325i. The car has 140,000 miles and I don't drive it that much anymore but I'm needing to find some tires with a bit more tread without breaking the bank. I've located several used sets nearby but none are the factory 225/45R17 that the vehicle was supplied with. Can anyone verify if any of these following 17" tires will fit a stock E46 325i? If I call any tire shops they just keep offering me new 225/45R17 tires without knowledge on alternative sizing.

    - 215/45R17
    - 225/50R17
    - 215/55R17

Thanks in advance for any knowledge on the topic.

The only option of those that could work is the 215/45R17. They are 1/3" narrower and shorter. I have new tires that start at 59.95 in the correct size.
If I can help let me know.

I would advice you to go for 215/45R17 It will definitely give you better performance
