I've ran the their pads in several StopTech BBKs in the past, the 'base' big brake pads share the compound with the Sport Brake Pads. They are a little dusty (but still less dusty than the stock BMW pads) but offer great bite, pedal fee, a decent temp range, and they are nice and quiet.

I use them .. I drive 100% on the street and I don't consider myself aggressive. That said I have had very good and consistent performance wet or dry with their Ceramic pads. I have drilled slotted rotors on my E36 and factory rotors on my E39 M. Both using StopTech ceramic pads.

    This guy reviews them :

I used the street performance pads and HATED them. Cold bite was non-existent and they destroyed my new rotors. I'll never buy them again.

I had a similar experience a few years back with one of StopTechs aggressive street pads (it may or may/not have been called 'street performance'). Dangerously bad cold bite, almost rear ended someone. Took them off my car and threw them in the trash after just a few days.

Yep. I called them about it and they said, and I quote, "oh yeah, they don't work at all unless you always drive like an asshole."

I won't be buying anything from them again. They didn't credit me for the pads nor for my destroyed rotors.
