89K miles Exceptionally clean. I have to many cars and I need to sell some of the cars that don’t get driven. This was just a fun date night car for my wife and I so it spent most of the time in the garage. Bought is on a whim because I always loved this body style. I get compliments every time I drive it! Most tell me they owned this version at one point and was one of their favorite BMW’s they have had. I bought it because it is so clean and original. Original windshield, appears most or all paint is original. Some minor rock chips normal for age. I just had the sport wheels refinished and installed new tires. At the same time I installed all new suspension control arms, drag link, tie rods, ball joints etc. These tend to be wear items on a car this age. I then did a complete 4-wheel alignment. The brakes have over 50% pad life and the struts aren’t leaking so I didn’t replace them. As a result of the suspension and new tires the cars handles and drives like new. I have also done some preventive maintenance and deferred maintenance from the previous owner. I installed new valve cover gaskets, re-sealed the power steering hoses. Installed new oil filter hosing isolators, engine mounts, trunk struts, battery tender, new monsoon rear sub speakers (this is a popular upgrade on these cars). The previous owner had just replaced the timing chain tensioners and flushed the coolant and thermostat. A/C works ice cold. Replaced RR window regulator. To my knowledge everything works, heated seats, windows, sunroof, cruise, etc. The only thing that could be replaced is the head liner starting to sag in the back.
