What is the stock tire size on 2007 328i

Hey everyone I have a 2007 328i and I was looking at the tire size I bought the car used.. and noticed that in the front its running 225/45 R 17 on the front and 255/40 R 17 on the rear... so is the way it came? I don't have the owners manual so I honestly don't know thanks for your help..

I don't know but there are a couple of ways you can look it up. One is to Google the owner's manuals online. Another is to check Tire Rack online, answer their questions about your specific vehicle and they will confirm that sizes for your stock wheel setup. from what you posted, I suspect you have the sport wheel setup.

You can also find manuals on Ebay; they come in handy, as you have noticed.

    My sedan has 225/45/r17

I'm thinking of going 225/50/r17 on my next set though - should be about 11mm bigger

    I second this motion.
In my experience, with staggered tire setup, the xi uses 255/225, while the i uses 2454/225f. That's just my experience. Look at the door.

** EDIT ** the above assumes 'sport', otherwise may be square
