e36 TRM coilover question

I bought an 1992 325i sedan that had been sitting outside for 3 or 4 new jersey winters. The car was equipped with TRM coilovers and was wondering if any wear may have occured over this time period of them sitting and not being used.

Was the car on the ground or on stands? Any car that sits for that long without any attention is bound to have some issues.
