I think I paid about $70 each for Bosch. I used Denso first, cheaper, but had issues.
The Bosch I used where: BOSCH 13231 @ 57 each from RockAuto - just looked up the email.

+1 on a pair of Bosch 13231, currently $56 each on Rockauto. They fit just fine and work correctly.
1989 750iL schwarz/schwarz
1991 M5 schwarz/silbergrau
2013 328i coupe diamondschwarz/caramel
2003 525iT orient blue/tan
1990 535i/5 schwarz/schwarz
I went cheaper and ordered ULTRA-POWER 2344676 from Rock Auto and they work fine. 28.79 each
Today somebody came to me with an E32 750 to help him a bit with maintenance. He also brought along 2 cheap chinese no name O2 sensors with wire loom and plug. First problem, the sensor plugs did not properly fit onto the wire loom plugs from engine bay, the outer lock ring had too short pins inside, that we fixed with zip ties. Then I wanted to reset fault codes with the Peake tool. No access, Peake dead. So we checked the fuses, 15A fuse 28 was blown. Installed a new one, started the engine, fuse blown immy.
As we had only changed the O2 sensors, we removed the new chinese ones and installed the old Bosch 13231 again, new 15A fuse, engine started and no more blowing fuse. Also the Peake R5 tool worked as it should again.
15 and 20-pin diagnostic port pinout http://bmw-e36.com/tips/26-diagnostic-connector.html
Then we tested the cheapo O2 sensors with a multimeter, one had an internal short circuit, that was the cause of the problem.
Fuse 28:
charging system (also fuse 17)
e-box fan (also fuse 17)
injection electronics (DME/EML 1.2) ( also fuses 17, 23, 24)
Servotronic
rear window defogger (also 21 + 46)
windshield washer jet heaters
I just ordered for him new Bosch 13231

I've used the Bosch universal 4-wire ones a few times (tried various part numbers BTW), they seem to work fine if the engine is in very good tune. But if your engine doesn't run stoich and runs a little rich, they foul easily and do not recover and the engine runs rough afterwards. The correctly spec'd o2 sensors for the car seem much more resiliant towards fouling. Just my $.02.
any member having experience with other brands O2 sensors? Complete ones with cable and plug, not the universal ones w/o plug + cable. for example NTK 25533 , Wire Harness Length: 20" (508 mm), Thread Diameter: 0.71" (18 mm)
