    I FINALLY got my first 8

    Been in love with this car since I first saw one back in 1992. I kept telling myself "some day" I will have this car one way or another. Well, that "some day" arrived earlier today. Got this lovely 1997 840CI with just over 100K miles. Lots of service records and well cared for. This car will lovingly share the garage space with a 2006 E46 325CI with only 49K miles. I never once thought I would be able to get a car like this let alone being blessed with TWO BMW's. Life is good!bmw2.jpgbmw3.jpgbmw1.jpgbmw5.jpgbmw4.jpg

    Congrats and enjoy! Looks real clean. (personally, I would lose the V8 badge and chrome wheels).

    I know what you mean. There is a lot of maintenance, and it always needs a few more bucks. Also getting a little on the old side and starting to show some wear. Some times in the morning, it doesn’t seem to have quite the get up and go it once did. So I may need to get rid of mine. So if anyone wants a new Wife, I have one available.
