M52 turbo new build issues

OP, what CR are you running, and I assume your running pump 93.

Well it could just be that turbo isn't a good fit for these cars... it's like my friends 3L M52 with 6262... it comes on really soft/late compared to my GT4094R which hits like a fright train just before 4k.

If my eBay turbo ever craps out I will seriously look into replacing it with a 4094r. One thing nice about running a larger turbo is that if you do have a boost leak, the large turbo is able to compensate for it. In fact I've never boost leaked my car, I probably should, but it seems to do just fine where it's at. FWIW, my JB 72mm eBay special hits 10#s at 3800 rpm. And I'm running a 10# WG Spring with no EBC or MBC.

Its a gamble i know , but Im gonna try a .63 AR turbine housing.

I don't think that is the right move to be honest. But post up the results either way!

but i went with an Emtron KV8 ecu. It runs good now, Although Covid has ruined this years track events for me.Emtron KV8.jpeg
