    No crank, no start

Took the 1995 M3 out for a drive the other day. Left it parked in a lot for 30 minutes. Came back and it wouldn't crank or start.

Had to get it towed home. Discovered the manual transmission reverse wire got caught in the drive shaft and ripped out but I have repaired this. The car still doesn't start and my Peake OBD I code reader is not able to read anything because there's no power going to the port. No lights turn on, on the reader.

A few things; battery is good and was connected to a charger, the engine was swapped to a S52 years ago and the transmission was swapped to a manual last year but it was running fine until this incident.

    Help greatly appreciated!

Update: Jumped the EWS cable and the car started. But the OBDI port is still not functioning. I would like to fix the issue the proper way. Anyone know what's causing this?

Seems like another wire was snagged as well. Also discovered fuse 26 was blown. Repaired and replaced. Fixed!
