1989 635 rear seat removal with ac in center

looking for the best way to get the rear seats out, I am rebuilding the suspension, and need to get the rear seat out to remove the last nut on the shock tower. I understand there is a hole in the sheetmetal once the seat is out that provides access. I have the seat loose , but the Ac console blocks removal of the seat. none of the on line service manuals are any help. what is the secret, don't want to break any of the old parts

I got mine out without removing seat, its tight but you can get it
