White kind of smoke
Hello again, so I have noticed that my e46 320d pouring more smoke that it should I guess. Smoke comes out on idle engine work. Diagnosis showed 1 error - "41F1 - Cooling fan", yet not sure if it could be the cause of that white smoke from exhaust. I keep checking coolant level, yet it is not changing, sitting in optimal place. Will try to film the smoke and post a video tomorrow, if won't get answer till then.

white smoke can also be unburnt diesel. The smell is the easiest way to tell.

Smell the smoke first. If it smell sweet you have a head gasket problem. Also, check the coolant level ASAP!

Youd have to diagnose the problem first. Take it to a shop. Dont leave it, it washes the oil and lubrication off the cylinder walls and rings which will ruin the motor.
