    Glad to help.

The internals look very nice, as you will get the golden coloring from the extended oil changes.

So I got the secondary air pump check valve installed and the VCG. I started and ran the car for about an hour as its not licensed to be on the road yet I cant drive it.
I am still getting the P1429 code, P0300, P0306, and P0305. Also got a new code P0040 and P0444. I believe the P0444 is just two vacuum hoses that i swapped around in the wrong place. but the P0040 has me stumped and the P1429 as well. Why am I still getting white smoke out of the exhaust, and misfires?

Okay so cleared the P0040 and the P0444. Was just a mixup of wiring. Now im still recieving P0300 P0306 and P0304 so the misfire jumped from 5-4 i did switch coils last night 6 went to 4 and 5 went to 3. im still getting alot of whitish grey smoke especially when throttle is applied. Also still have a p1429 which is most likely the secondary air pump from the check valve going bad.

a lot of updates this weekend but i checked the ccv hose that i had originally found oil in its the hose that leads directly to the valve cover and im finding brown burnt oil residue now after cleaning it so I believe im going to buy the new CCV and air pump and see if I still have any codes. If im still getting a misfire code I think it will be time to bring her to the local indy for a diagnosis regretfully as I realllly wanted to do it all myself to learn.

Check fuel pressure with a FPG at fuel rail Schrader Valve.
It seems codes are present only at bank #2,
    so focus on them.

From my experience, I don't think Torque Pro can monitor Fuel Pressure.
In the states, most autoparts stores rent out the FPG,
    but you're in Canada.
P1429 would point to the Leak Diagnosis Pump in the Fuel tank Evap System,
but first check and clean connections/hoses displaying corrosion at pump.

I went to BMW Toronto today and asked about the P1429 code and the tech there said its a vacuum pump code so he agreed with the secondary air pump. So I'm going to try getting the secondary air pump replaced to clear that code then hopefully only have the CCV and misfires to deal with.

P1429 can be misleading, as it is a generic OBD2 P-code,
Not an actual BMW error code, obtained with BMW specific scan tool/software.

From my research and experience that code can point to several items,
so my suggestion is not to replace any pump just yet, but apply contact cleaner to electrical connections.
Check for clean non-corroded connections at:
    • Leak Diagnosis Pump in the Fuel tank Evap System
    • Secondary Air Pump
    • Evap Canister Purge Control Valve
    • In a nutshell, a P0040 code means that the vehicle's computer (the PCM or powertrain control module) has detected that the first O2 oxygen sensors downstream from the engine have swapped wiring. The vehicle's PCM uses the oxygen sensor readings to adjust how much fuel to inject into the engine for most efficient operation. The PCM monitors the engine sensor readings and if for example it puts more fuel into bank 2 of the engine but then sees that the bank 1 oxygen sensor is reacting instead of bank 2, that is the type of thing that triggers this code. For this DTC, the first O2 oxygen sensor that is in the exhaust manifold or downstream from it is the sensor #1. It will be upstream from the catalytic converter.

Perfect, okay I will check these connections before buying anything. Will update once I have checked the fuel pressure and the connections.

IF - you have excessive oil consumption,
    and heavy tailpipe smoke,
and CCV system has never been replaced,
and it is aged at 255KM,
YES - I would replace with a refresh kit.

The CCV is a wearable item like a belt. I typically recommend for it to be replaced every 10 years or 125k miles. It is made out of plastic, and over time it will get brittle and break. Since you live in a Cold weather location, be sure to get this one I have attached. Now if you want to replace the dipstick tube that is up to you. I have, and the dipstick likes to get caught on the lower wall as I pull it out. Or you can clean the heck out of the original and hope it continues to work properly.

So at 255k I'm right at your recommendation for a replacement. Will replace CCV next. I have no intention of driving the car in the winter so do I still need cold weather kit?

so I got the new ccv in today and no improvement in engine performance I let it run and revved it for about an hour and it seems like the oil just gets worse after revving.
I am still only getting multiple misfire code with cylinder 4 and 6 misfiring and the p1429. I've kind of gotten stumped Now could it be the seal pins?
