    No start

Been a while since my last post...

'Daily driver' not starting and stranded away from home. Probably need to flat bed it. Starter motor spins up fine, voltage is ok to both fuel pumps.

Does the fact I have fuel pump voltage rule out the fuel pump relays and fusible link?

And the car _should_ start on just one pump right?

    No stomp codes reported.

Car fine in morning, dead at lunch.

What can take out both banks of the V12? Crank position sensor?

A hidden fuse can do this, Turn the ignition on so everything lights up without cranking it, , Do you hear a humming sound coming from under the hood?

Crank position sensor would take out one side only.
Check the fusible link and also make sure to check all the fuses.
Remove the air cleaner and see if the fuel lines get hard after cranking.

Doesn't the fact I have voltage to the fuel pump rule out the fusible link though?

Anyway, I pulled the fuel pump from the car and bench tested it - both pumps spin fine.

So I pulled spark plug #2 and clamped the thread to ground - no spark when cranking. Didn't have time to look further, but I guess coils are next suspect? Still seems strange to me both sides have died.
