It pains me to put my 1990 E30 BMW 325i Alpine White/Indigo Vert up for sale but alas I have my eye on a 1981 Porsche 911SC. My Vert is well sorted as will be detailed below. The only thing on my list that need to be done is new suspension, however, it drives really nice. The following is a list of all the work done on my Vert since in or about the winter of 2017 through the present:
A compression test showed about 150 psi across all six cylinders. Early winter 2017 at approx 117k miles, the following maintenance was performed:
-New Timing Belt
-All new ContiTech belts
-New water pump
-New alternator
-New Starter
-New Nissen radiator
-New heater hoses
-New OEM coolant expansion tank
-New windshield washer fluid reservoir
-New fuel injectors
-New battery
-Repaired rear window defroster
-A/C converted to r134 with new compressor
-New coil, plugs, wires, cap and rotor
-Valve adjustment
-Power steering fluid flush
-Valve cover and intake manifold powder-coated
-new rear window
In the winter of 2018, the 3.73 standard differential was replaced with a 3.73 LS diff. The diff was torn down and refreshed to include new clutch plates. Also in the winter of 2018 the following was done:
- oil pan gasket replaced
- bitch tube replaced
- Coolant flush
- valve adjustment
- new valve cover gasket
- engine mounts replaced
- tranny mounts replaced
- rear sway bar links replaced
- rear sway bar bushings replaced
- new battery
The heated blue leather sport seats show light wear on the front seat bottoms. The rear seat has been recovered in correct German Indigo Blue leather. The original radio was serviced and is fully functional. The blue canvass top is original and in very good condition.
The vert comes fitted with Euroweaves and also the original bottle cap wheels.
