    850 csi rear brake caliper part number

    Looking to replace my rear calipers but can’t find any available . Can it be cross referenced from another model ?

    OEM 34212227509 and 510

    Your part number is missing one digit. It should be 34212227509/10. Have you looked into rebuilding what you have?

    That I'm aware there is no Direct Replacement from BMW.
    However, the E38, 750 rear brakes also uses the 323x20mm rear rotor and the rear caliper is slightly different but compatible with the E31.

    Thanks for correcting that, I was copying from a site on my phone and didn't notice. Not looked at rebuild kits yet but that seems the only option.

    The main problem is that most parts companies list regular 850 brake parts, even if you enter the registration number. I would imagine it will be the same problem with the rebuild kits.

    All back together and no vibration ! The new calipers turned up today, as expected, they are nothing like the original calipers .

    Nice! How does it pull with the new 3.15 gears I sent you and no sticking calipers?
