    throtle

    hey guys ....i just used my launch creader x431 on my 97 528i and i got this "throttle-valve signal from the dme" fault message....i was able to clear the fault but i was wonder if you guys could give me more info on this fault....i was thinking even i was able to clear the fault i still have to fix this

    What is the exact code? You can google it and usually find out exactly what the issue is.

    Did you replace the throttle body recently? Could be that you didn't reset the adaptations.

    If you haven't replaced your throttle body recently I would clean the connections with some electrical contact cleaner.

    Also, if the fault message hasn't come back after you cleared it there likely isn't an active problem.
