Help P0743 error code

Damn thing is stuck in trans failsafe mode. New battery check alternator check unplug ABS module n change. Has error code PO743 torque converter clutch control solenoid. Any ideas is it for real or is it a rush to a very simple problem that has a simple fix that won't break the bank

It may just be the clutch control solenoid, as the error says, on the valve body. The part is about $50, and labor shouldn't be that much to drop the trans oil pan and replace the solenoid. If that does not fix it, yea, it will cost money.
