    goldvinreports.com Scam

I put my M Roadster up on Denver Craigslist and Blinker.com. I got a two responses that I question, and may be a heads up for others.

One person called when I was at dinner, and then texted. He/she wants me to pull a vin check from goldvinreports.com and send it to him/her. I googled goldvinreports and didn't come up with anything. I plugged it into scamadviser.com which I don't know the legitimacy of either, and it came up with this as part of the result.
    Email: goldvinreports.com@protecteddomainservices.com

I instead sent the link to the Blinker ad which has a Carfax.

Has anyone here used this goldvinreports site or is it a scam?

Blinker isn't a scam. A co worker used it this summer. He and the purchaser got $200 after the car was sold, so I figured I would give it a shot. Plus they are out of Denver, so I have to help a local startup.

I did it on my phone last night, and forgot to add scam. Well, heads up to anyone else selling a car.

That's what I figured, and why I posted it here.

Blinker has a picture of my drivers license, title - both sides, and my bank account info. If someone from their site buys the car, the money gets wired to my account. pretty slick according to my co worker who used it.

I miss the days where you can run a 1 time use Discover card number from your Discover account, for online purchases. I wonder why that got cancelled.

My bank has that, virtual credit card numbers. I started using them when I was buying from Alibaba. Now I use them more than the real card. Electric, cell, gas companies... each have their own personal cc number.
