    Trunk open dash message

Hello: I had the trunk latch spring break again. I replaced the spring like I had done in the past BUT this time now the "trunk open" message comes on as soon as my car starts moving even with the trunk latched. The wires seem to be ok going into the trunk actuator so I am kind of stumped. Any suggestions as to what I can do to troubleshoot?
    Thanks,

    nf

Most likely the Pelican link won't help you as you have already replaced the trunk lock actuator.
You most likely have a broken wire in the trunk to body flex boot, pretty common on our 18 year old cars.
