On my 2006 BMW X5, There is a vaccum hose hanging that is connect to my oil dipstick. I am assume this is what is causing my check engine light to come on. Can anyone tell me where this line is connect to. I looked on realoem and I did not find anything. Any advice would be appreciated.
I'm pretty sure that if you were to look at all places reached by the hose, you'd find it
2007 FJ Cruiser (best vehicle to date)
2012 X6 35i Sport
2013 ML350 BT
2019 4Runner
If you have an M54, then the hose goes as shown on this diagram.

Hose #4 is the oil drain line from the crank case vent valve to the oil dipstick. It typically rots at the top of the hose where it attaches to the CCV.
