Looking at buying a 1990 320i. It's an auto with 164000 miles. Only mechanical fault is noisy lifters according to the seller. Only wants 3000NZD for it (about 1500 pounds). Yet to look at it in person and drive it. Anything to look out for? Could the high mileage cause some issues?

Thats low miles, here in america. Just feel it out like test driving any other car. Check for any odd rust amd the odometer migjt not work so check that out while driving because the mileage might not be actual.
