    E53 CCV question

Ok guys working on replacing the CCV in a 2002 E53, my question is about hose #6 in the diagram. I havent replaced one that had this hose before and in a moment of stupidity dont recall if it had the hose on it when I pulled it out. Trying to figure out where the other end goes so I can be sure if it is supposed to be there or not. Thanks.

I think it goes to the back of the intake manifold. However, I don't know that I've ever seen a single car that had that hose. Maybe it's a SULEV thing? Every one I've ever replaced had a cap over the nipple on the CCV. So, if you have no hose, which I can just about promise there isn't one, put a vacuum line cap on it.

Thanks! I havent actually seen one with the hose either but didnt see a vacuum cap on the CCV. Oddly enough I actually found the cap while I was in the process of swapping them out. It must have fallen off.
