Front bumper impact strip
Okay so I might be understanding this right and I might not be. Looking for a piece of a trim to replace that hideous license plate holder. (97' and 98') All the "Impact strip" trim pieces I've found say late, or say that theyre only going to work for LCI models. Why? I don't know. You might be thinking,
"Why don't you just get an M-tech bumper?" Well, I would, and I might if I can't find a piece of trim to fit that space. Regardless, eventually I'm going to invest in a 540i or an M5, more likely the latter, but until then, I don't want to put a lot a lot of money into customizing one of these cars if I'm not going to have it for a long time.

Found the part number an searched on a couple websites, ECS, Bavauto, they’re all the same part but they look very dark. I can’t tell if they have the slot for the silver piece that goes above either, and I obviously can’t put a piece of shadowline there when I have normal trim going the rest of the way around.Originally Posted by computiNATEor

Ah, you have a prefacelift car, I forgot. If your other impact strips are all faded, I'd recommend a restorative product like Solution Finish.
