    2009 BWM e90 335xi - Injector / Ignition Wiring Harness

BMW 335xi, e90 68,000 miles. I've had the car about a month. I don't have all of the service history on the car. Detecting a small misfire, and decided to change the plugs and coils. While doing so, I discovered damage to the wiring harness going to the coils on cylinders 1 and 2. Looks like a mouse ate the insulation..... I've wrapped the wires with electrical tape and everything is working. No fault codes. How big a pain is it going to be to change out this? Is this going to take the entire injector / ignition wiring harness, which I believe to be part No. 12517566507?

And, does anyone know if these various clips come apart so that individual wires can easily be replaced? Splices are not my preference.

I think replacing the wiring is just eye pleasure - main thing is fixing the insulation so they don't short out. If you achieve that you are good to go...

    I’m sure you are correct!

But that does not change the fact that I am offended by the mouse actions.... I’m sure it was cold in St Lois and the poor mouse just needed shelter....

Actually the rodents like the insulation because it is made with soy....

St Louis is a Bitch I remember - born and raised there left in 64 for the service not been back other than several short visits.
