    Part numbers:

    2-121-501
    2-121-870
I found a couple of "sites" on E-Bay but no supply. Can anybody help??

So here's a bit of info on how to look up 7 digit part numbers. All BMW numbers are 11 digits. One's with only 7 digits have an implied first 4. You can still go to a site like realoem.com and input a search with the 7 numbers to get the full 11 digit number. For example go to the BMW landing page http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select and enter the number under PART NR APPLICATION SEARCH.

    2121870 doesn't show a listing although the original part number would be 51 14 2 121 870.

As to whether the superseded versions fit your needs I can't evaluate. If you're going for a totally original restoration they may not. Maybe someone knows of a source doing reproductions. If you want to browse what parts are available, labels are found in group 71 03 (Equipment Parts>Labels)

I got some from here in the past. They are replicas but look exactly like the OEM versions.
