    Spin on oil filter adapters

A member on another forum just contacted me and asked if I would do a group buy regarding the spin on oil filter adapters. If 5 guys step up between the various forums I will do so.securedownload.jpegComplete filter unit.jpg
These provide for better oil filtration and a clean oil change.

I make them to fit the old style 4" bottom bolted canisters, the 3.5" bottom bolted canisters and the 3.5"top bolted canisters. These will work with a BMW oil cooler filter head as well. To the best of my knowledge I am the only one providing them for a top bolted filter. My adapters are made to fit a filter for a 460" Ford big block

My regular price is $150 shipped and I will do $130 shipped for a group buy, USA only .Additional postage to another country

If anyone is on the fence about this, I have bought this kit from Bert a couple years ago, over at BigCoupe.. he is a stand up guy, and this kit works very well.. I use a nice and large Mobil 1 M1-301 filter and it works great..

Hi Lee, Your "M" car should have a 3.5" diameter existing canister. The bolt holding the canister to the filter head should either go in from the top of the filter head or the bottom of the canister. It will work with either one of those configurations including a filter head with an oil cooler provisowhich your car should have with a bottom bolt.. Long story short, it should work. I have sold close to 100 of these and there have not been any fit/mechanical problems

    Bert,

I'm interested in getting one of these. I tagged you in a message on facebook. Wasn't quite sure the best way to get ahold of you.

Maybe I will if 5 guys step up.

The last several times I did this it was like pulling teeth getting people to put their money up. So, if 5 guys step up and put their money up front, then I will gladly do it. I will offer it on several other forums to increase the possibility of getting 5 people. Group buy price $135 shipped in the USA

Will keep you in mind but I only have one other guy so far and 2 maybe's. Should work on an E23 as long as the canister mounts on the bottom of the filter head. Again, I will keep you advised

Howdy Bert - what's the conversion process? I assume it's reversible?

It's a matter of just screwing in/on, depending on your housing, a threaded bushing into your filter head and then the adapter plate threads onto that against the filter head aligning with the existing oil ports. It will also work with an oil cooler filter head. It is 100% reversible. A total no brainer to install or remove.

My adaptor arrived . What a great looking part.
Talk about simplifing my life. From now on it's a PH8 spin on, instead of dripping internal filter.
    Thanks Bert!

If I am correct, the 106 is a turbo'd m30 as found on the 745. It is an M30 and uses the M30 canister oil filter assembly bolted from the bottom. The diameter of the canister is 3.5" If this is what you have, or even if it is bolted from the top, my adapter will work for you. Measure the diameter and let me know. check your Pms
