Hello everyone,
I'm not getting any air coming out of the center dash vents or the lower feet vents from my 2006 550i. Air is blowing from only the windshield defroster and the rear passenger vent. Ive checked the a/c fuses and tried adjusting the vents in idrive. It doesn't matter if its set to heat or AC-nothing changes. Any ideas?

Pull the codes on the IHKA module with a BMW compatible code reader.
I tried to use INPA to check for codes but nothing was found, I haven't used this software much though so I might not be using it correctly. In INPA I select the chassis, engine and build date then select read error memory and no errors show up. How do I read a specific module?

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere.

Got the IHKA codes,
9C5C IHKA evaporator temperature sensor
9C60 Heat exchanger for heating system sensor, right
9C67 Heat exchanger for heating system sensor, left
E706 Heater A/C system LIN bus fault
A few months ago I removed the climate controls when I installed a Bluetooth Aux input im wondering if these could be related to that.

Absent any codes for the condensation/mist sensor, the IHKA panel would be a good starting point to ensure the connectors are properly seated. There are 3 connectors on the rear of the IHKA panel, 26 pin, 12 pin and 2 pin connectors. Focus on the 12 pin connector, center of the 3, to ensure its connected properly. The IHKA can be reinstalled and run prior to the reinstalation of the trim to check functionality.
You are certainly welcome and happy it was an easy fix for you.... Enjoy the summer!
